Playing Xhaka over Tavares is probably the cautious variant, the rest of the team just picks itself unfortunately.
Will be an interesting game for sure, very attacking midfield, but I'm worried we'll be overrun through the middle, will need to take our chances.
If he's going with Lokonga, Ødegaard and Smith Rowe in a a midfield 3 then he has big balls, no question about it at all.
He doesn't have much of a choice though, does he? 😆 The only other option would have been Xhaka in midfield and either Tavares or Saka at LB, that's just about as risky, Xhaka's the safe choice in defence and you could just as well argue he doesn't have the balls to start Tavares again.
Anyway, who cares about Arteta's balls, it's definitely an adventurous lineup, hoping for a fun game and a few goals!
