Patino needs to get more involved. At present he is either not very eager or not being trusted. His touches are very assured when he does get on the ball though.
Think it's more that him and Lokonga aren't really being trusted yet, White and especially Holding bypassed the midfield a lot with their passing, probably normal, give him a few games and he'll get the ball a lot more. As a new very young player in the side I doubt he's really demanding the ball either.
Think he's done well though, considering this is his first start for us. Good touch, calm on the ball, didn't shy away from contact, some clever passes, I liked his first half. Don't think Lokonga was bad either, they just didn't get the ball enough.
Pretty dull affair so far, you can see Ode, Martinelli and Saka are a class above everyone else on the pitch, but we're too sloppy in transition to really hurt them. And to be fair, Nottingham are playing a good game, very organised and alert to Odegaard's defence splitting passes. It's shocking how bad our fullbacks have been though. We really need better back-ups for Tomi and Tierney if we ever want to compete for a league title, Cedric is shocking and I don't trust Tavares at all. I do hope he had a niggle though, because taking him off 10 minutes before HT would be a proper dick move otherwise. Just make the change at halftime.
