The ball prgression has been so bad partly because passing to the midfield two has not been an option.
The midfield two push forward and wide as soon as the centre backs get the ball, it’s a clear policy. White has been ok but too slow. Holding has been atrocious and slow. Granted they could be demanding the ball more but I’ve seen them free and available several times only to be ignored.
