Arteta said we were "suffering" with cases in his press conference, but didn't say who.

There are 5 subs allowed for this too, 6 if it goes to extra time, so we've got a decent chance of seeing some of the young players.

I think only the fact that we're short gives any of the younger lads a chance. Mikel usually only rotates the first squad for this.

Sux that Partey has gone but have to say, am really looking forward to seeing Sambi get an extended run now... Thought he done really well in a team that was still finding its feet. Will be interesting to see what he does in a high performing team. Has that Cesc quality of always looking like has time on the ball.. Needs to build on that now and improve his concentration then really feel he can stake a claim in the first team.

I've been disappointed in Lokonga personally. It feels like the only time he does something impressive with the ball is when he plays it long. The rest of the time it either goes sideways or he loses it because he can't handle being pressed.

He scores quite well in shot creation per 90 mins to be fair, in line with more attacking players than him. But I'm not completely convinced by him either.

I have to say I think he's been good, don't really identify with the sideways passing comment. He also deals with pressure really well. Defensively he's gotten better after a shaky start.

I like Lokonga. I like that he never hides even when it's not going well. He is always making himself available, wanting to get involved and take responsibility. He does struggle with the pace of the game, is a few milliseconds slower than he should be and is weak defensively but he is young and I like his attitude. I think he will get much better with minutes.

Very surprised Saka and Martinelli are starting, but with our games being postponed left and right, I suppose there's only wo much forward planning you can do.

Also known as your standard 2 games in a week. Would have been good to be able to rest him, on the other hand he's played 1 game in the last 12 so he should be fairly fresh.

Salah has played a good 500 mins more than Saka this season, I think we get a bit overprotective here.
