Spence close to signing for Spurs according to Orny.

Spence seems like a great talent, dealt with Martinelli better than Cancelo or TAA this season.

Spurs creating a very good team with a World Class manager.

They could challenge for the league next season if they bring in a quality CB.

I am concerned we haven’t signed anyone but thankfully today is the last day of international football so we should finally be seeing some movement although Jesus does feel underwhelming.

Everyone we are linked with is underwhelming. I would happily take Spence and Bissouma over Jesus and Tielemans.

Spence in particular I'm convinced he will have a great career.

I didn't think much of their business so far but Spence and Bissouma definitely two very good additions for them, especially on top of Kulusevski.

Jesus and Tielemens are not bad players but definitely underwhelming, not exactly the big step up Arteta was hinting at. Going to have to hope once they're in place we'll look better than the sum of our parts.

United have apparently offered Eriksen a contract, as his current one is expiring. He'll probably take it if no CL clubs make an offer. Thought he was better at Brentford than his last season at Spurs to be honest.

Was thinking about Eriksen the other day too, still a fantastic player after his heart problems. Won't be interested in a move to us though definitely.

It's £30m for Bissouma which is about what you'd expect for a player of his profile in the last year of his deal. Same reason we're supposedly looking to get Tielemans for a similar amount.

Yup. I don't mind the gamble on Tielemens to be fair, if we can get the best out of him rather than his recent form he'll be a great addition. Jesus is the bigger let down because his upside just doesn't seem that big. If it were Osimhen instead I'd probably be fine with that combo, I'd even be willing to forego a higher profile winger signing.
