Yeah they can do with less games, but they won't cos TV money.
How bullish are you about your 6ers chances coming out of the East? Feel like Embiid is carrying too heavy a load. Harden is the ultimate unknown here. If he can't regain his pre injury blow by ability, he is going to be a liability in games against tougher opposition.
i think there is a lot of goalpost shifting on harden
people said this series was going to be a nightmare matchup for him because toronto has tons of length and athleticism to throw at him, and hes been great. hes gotten by fvv and trent a number of times going to the basket, and his passing has been unreal. he literally carried us for the first half of game 3 when embiid was puking all over himself offensively.
i think we match up fine with miami. adebayo is a better defender for embiid than anyone toronto has, but i dont think miami is athletic as toronto. butler's shooting is really erratic, he can drop 45 one night and then go 3/17 the next night. defensively, i dont think we'll be as overmatched in the one v one matchups. the sixers beat the heat near the end of the season with embiid and harden resting.
will be a tough series, probably goes 6 or 7, and miami will be favorites im sure, but i think we match up well with them, better than against the celtics, for sure
