Liverpool having an awful season and Chlesea having Lampard as manager is the reason the points were low. That season for United is a much bigger outlier for their position then this one is for us. Yet, the arguments I see is Ole finished second, against Arteta is finishing fourth because United and Spurs are having a really bad season.
I would argue a midfileder is the signing they needed the most in the summer. Their signings have been vastly overpriced and overrated for the last couple of years. There is a reason Southgate picked Saka to start over Sancho in the WC. Their problem is their squad filled with primadonas, accumulated through a lack of a recruitment plan, lack of clear targets and needs and lack of planning in general. Not only their managers.
