The next 5 - goodbye top four?

I have no idea what to make of this run. For a team playing well and with confidence I think it represents an opportunity. For a team suffering with confidence and form it feels dangerous. I'm leaning towards disaster having witnessed United and Everton.

I think we should get 10-12 points from that which would keep us in the top 4 conversation, but I think we'll actually get 7, starting with defeat on Wednesday, which will pretty much kill any hope we have.

Tierney and Xhaka look expectedly stiff and off the pace but they've got two matches under their belt now. I'm confident about the others, and some green shoots individually and in collective clusters. So I think we're more likely to get a good return.
If we do stumble, its going to be punishing. Villa, Leicester and Tottenham will be surging up over the same run I think.
Couple others like United are dealing with COVID outbreaks, and health and safety protocols. Whichever team locks it down will benefit.
I'll go with 10 points.

7-8 points. Not enough to actually get 4th but just enough to be considered in contention for it

I don't think we're good enough to beat teams that know their stuff and are at full strength.
The Everton loss is the most troublesome as WHU, Wolves have been more impressive of late, despite our results being better by 1 more win since the return from the last break.
If Xhaka starts then I'm even less confident of doing well.

Thats a run where we could win 4 or lose 4 quite easily. I'm gonna predict 5 points. I think we'll draw a 2 and win 1.

I’d take 3 wins and a draw. 10 out 15 should keep us in the top 4 conversation. Expecting anything more is title form.

What I think we’ll get is 6 or 7 points.

I'll keep it quick, I want 10 but I'm feeling 8. I don't think it'll be awful because I think our situation will continue to be deceptive.

12 points should be expected to make up for the bumps in the road so far, but I doubt we'll get much more out of this run than we did from the previous five.

We always go on a false optimistic run enough just to keep Arteta in the job after having our bellies exposed.

West Ham is at home so definitely winnable. The Leeds trip away though will be a banana skin and we could well lose it. Similarly Norwich could well be another banana skin, and we seem to have some sort of jinx with Wolves.

We'd do well to get anything more than 7 points out of this given how we're playing. But we should be getting 9+.

10 wins out of the last 15; would have been 9 clean sheets in the same period possibly if not for White's error. Continue at this form and we could land around 72 points.
