ESR and Auba are pretty much completely out of the game and Saka has been poor. The rest of the team have been alright.

Pretty much spot on. We can't afford to have saka being complacent. I'd consider bringing on some energy through Marti and KT on the left for them.

Yup exactly. Haven't seen this amount of fight from us at anfield. We normally approach the game there defeated before it even kicked off.

Tomi dealt with Mane well. Lokonga did well too.

Having to play Lacazette and Aubameyang to balance each other’s flaws is effectively a man down in games this big. Get away with it against smaller teams but at the top end it doesn’t work.

I can’t see how we get back into this. We aren’t good enough offensively to capitalise on a loose Liverpool back line.

Yeah, he hasn't been in it and has not made a useful pass I've noticed.

We've been pretty good. I feel we've missed Tierney. If our line-up stays this way our chances going forward probably won't change much for another half hour, but the players we could bring on are not going to light things up by themselves.

Bringing back Laca has helped us and it's the right choice, but we need to find a way for it to work with only one of those two because it's holding us back from reaching our full potential.

Yep, we also just don't have enough individual skill and close control from wide. We don't get men up from the middle of the pitch so our only way of creating is from wide positions.

God I wish we had a young JVP up top. I'm tired of these flawed old men.

They're not flattered by the match, but the fullbacks have hardly got forward. The one time Tomiyasu got a cross in was probably our best chance barring the offside situation. Liverpool have applied enough pressure we've hardly had an overlapping run, it's made ESR look useless as well, no one's going to be able to jump on a cutback the way things have been going. We haven't won a single free kick in a decent position either.
