I get money is important to him but at this stage in his career and after how much he has already made does he really need another big money move?

I think ordinarily a move to America would be ideal, he's still good enough for most PL clubs so would be great there. Even though charged dropped there I doubt he'd move there.

The problem is that he's not good enough for United, yet thinks he's too good for them. That's why he didn't leave in the summer.

Florentino is ruthless and a very smart operator nowadays. He'll be looking at younger players. Reckon there is no chance he'd even take Ronaldo for free, especially with the form Benzema, Vinicius & Rodrigo are in.

Mixed feeling about this Ronaldo interview now after the initial schadenfreude. Reassuring to hear that they have a shitty set up set for players to fail long term despite the gauchos and such talents. But worried this high profile interview might spur them finally to rejig and reset behind the scenes and get their act together.

I saw a 1 min preview of it where he talks about Neville and Rooney and both clips were basically Piers putting words in Ronaldo’s mouth or asking extremely leading questions and the latter just agreeing to it. Waste of time.

Awful interview technique, usually is when you talk more than the person you’re supposed to be interviewing.
