Problem being the games do not stop after Saints but carry on until the break after New Year's Day.
We play 9 games from 02/12 - 01/01, we start with 2 Away games and finish with 2 Home games.

IMO the December fixture list is the most brutal for the season re the number of games. Once we come back after the break the next highest number of fixtures in a month is only 5 in April, to go with the 6 we have already played in August and the 5 we had in October.

02/12 - A v MU
06/12 - A v Everton
11/12 - H v Saints
15/12 - H v WHU
18/12 - A v Leeds
21/12 - H v Sunderland EFLC
26/12 - A v Norwich
28/12 - H v Wolves
01/01 - H v MC

We will struggle when we have to rest players over that spell. Then the AFCON will hurt us. It's key we get as many points before Xmas if we want to have a decent season.

I keep going back to not getting the rebuild done last summer, and that we will need to do so in Jan if we hope to mitigate the impact of the AFCON.

When was the last time we won a league game at that shit hole though? Was it back when Adebayor still existed? It's more likely we'll go there and lose and kickstart Ronaldo again for them.

Last season with an Aubameyamg penalty wasn't it? Think that was the first time since Adebayor's goal and Lehmann's save from Solskjaer.

3 out of 15 with 2 played. In all seriousness we need to take the maximum from next 3.

Utd and Everton are massive tests.
The mancs are rallying and we need to keep them down, while everyone else in the fray have beaten Everton, results which we must match.

Honestly have no clue how the OT game will go.

United didn't look well organised yesterday at all and the scoreline really flattered them, they may change it up against us but we should have no reason to fear them. They are in terrible form and without a proper manager. A loss would be a really bad result.

They basically looked like a bottom half side for the first 50 mins. If Chelsea had better forwards on the pitch they'd have easily scored a goal or two.

After that though they did show what can happen if you become a little sloppy, they can break forward with speed and have more than enough quality to make things difficult. Partey needs to be much more secure on the ball.

I don't think they'll get the chance to do that to us, at least not for a first goal anyway. We don't leave players on the half way line with 9 men ahead of them. They do have plenty of individual quality though. I would expect to see Ronaldo back in the first XI to face us too. We got shithoused by Mane, imagine what that cheating scumbag will try.
