we lost our way a bit. it's partly that Leicester bucked up a bit, but we do still have these lulls where we look a bit unsure of what our approach should be. if we could develop more potency on the break when we're in absorption mode, that would be ideal

Laca and Auba are ambling a bit. Their intensity is key to this lineup working. Lokonga recedes into his shell a bit quickly still.

Ramsdale's save is one of the best I've seen. I still don't know how that didn't go in? If he's not in goal for England in their next match, then Southgate is even dumber than I thought he was!

I really liked that he was actively trying to calm and slow the team down as we approached half-time. And then knowing it was a good time to take an age over a goal kick and punt it long when he did kick it. The sort of intangibles that are the marks of great players.

Gabriel and Ramsdale bossed that half. Which probably says something about it not being as flattering as it feels but I still think we were very good there. This is Leicester away, we were never going to have it all our own way. Smith Rowe and Saka have been really good too and I think Parteys been quietly excellent. Tomi has been great too.

Its amazing the difference Laca has made to the attack, even today he's not really been a standout but he still adds so much of what we need.

Agree, he's very smart in his timing. When the opposition are in disarray he meets the ball 30 or 40 yards off his line and plays it quick and short, when we're bumbling about he takes his time. Plays mature beyond his years, Leno to this day always plays it with the same safety first temper

I loathe James Vardy and James Madison. The former needs to retire and live in the sewers with the rest of his species and the latter needs to fuck off to Real Betis or somewhere he can freely dive and prance around.

It's the sort of thing you can't coach because it's more to do with a player's personality, intelligence and understadning of the ebb and flow of a sporting contest.

It's not something I thought would ever work but it's improved us a lot. Just gives us things we lacked.
