It was a brilliant save in fairness 😆 Never thought he'd actually get there, the penalty kick was so hard even if it was the right height for a goalkeeper. Good awareness of Auba to be ready for the rebound though.

He was absolutely mental too in the Copa penalties, trying to be a complete shithouse to every penalty taker. I mean, he also did that in the community shield for us didn't he. Just his style.

Good fight, character and personality from White, Tomiyasu, Lokonga, Laca, and Tavares. Wanted the latter two to start and they've really pushed the tempo. Villa top to bottom want to step on us, so pretty delighted we've given it right back and bossed them. No shots on our goal. Partey man love.

Tavares has looked good so far, he was a bit clownish in his previous outings for us. Partey is the real star today though.

I wanted AMN to start but Lokonga has been really excellent today. Of course it helps that his partner in midfield is playing like the world class star he is.

Tavares has been good too, his final balls inconsistent but he's made a big difference to the attack with his running.

We need to just keep playing our game and avoid getting sucked into their bullshit. Its all to do for them, we just need to see this out.
