Despite the obvious individual quality of a lot of the first team, the Lafayette / Aubameyang partnership is still one of the few genuine examples of chemistry between players.
We have spells where the likes of Odegaard, Saka or Smith Rowe show some delightful football and look like they can knit things together but they’re too young and inexperienced to overcome the lack of chemistry across the team.
