That's fair and i can understand that then for the teams that can get something out of it why they might have a focus. But equally for some of the teams that do qualify regularly (and they are more and more as they constantly expand the tournament size) it doesn't have the same significance.
Just like if you are in a league and one teams season is done and the other is fighting relegation it creates a game which isn't really interesting from a competitive angle. I just don't think many of the players have the same drive as when your playing actual competitive football. Especially at the end of a long season and period of football after COVID. They just want to be on holiday and I wish Saka was just getting rest rather then play in these more meaningless games.
That's not me saying England might not have their own issues, I just think your not going to get to see that until we actual play games with a bit more riding on it.
Hungary also played well 5 shots on target and 4 goals is great finishing returns and very clinical.
