Totally. Kane suddenly unlocked this crazy creative aspect to his game. He was incredible, isn't playing at the same level now but he is still very dangerous with ball at feet. Gabriel will do well to avoid some of the rashness on Thursday.

According to his record on transfermarkt, it seems he's missed large chunks of the season for the last few years.

He didn't have a reputation of being injury prone in Italy. He's only 23 and hasn't played regular football for very long though. In itself I reckon that accounts for a lot of "missed" starts. Easy to forget he's the same age as Nketiah.

This article didn't age well, did it? Was posted at the start of last season and gives all the reasons why his issues aren't an issue abd that Arsenal fans shouldn't be worried. Wrong.

But yeah it's also true that a playera injury record, whether good or bad, at one club doesn't necessarily mean he'll have the same luck at another club. Partey is a prime example.

It's really weird that our fans can flag this as a potential problem from day 1, whilst our recruitment team doesn't think it might be an issue. With Partey you can say we were unlucky as he didn't have a history, but with Tierney and Tomi, the trend was already there.

A lot of players play through injections (I know it’s a different sport but Rafa Nadal won Roland Garros this year with injections) but if you are injury prone you are injury prone.

Good that White can deputise as RB otherwise we would be fucked. Still would be good to ship Cedric and Hector and get the Zinchenko RB equivalent if we can.

Didn't Arteta state the reason for that as "we had no other right backs available" whilst AMN literally started at RB for Roma on the same night?

Played as the left sided CB against USandA. Would like to see him given a shot there for us. Very assured on the ball in that position

Ben White was bloody awesome today though.

Gabriel was killing me in the first half, but I can't help but love him when it's going right for him. And then there's Tierney, who is arguably the best pure left back in the country! It's a good headache I suppose. Arteta has bought some seriously impressive players to the club (I know he did not sign Tierney btw).
