I doubt he'll play another game for them, terrible signing to be frank. He should probably retire at this point, or got to the MLS, he had a great career for us, injuries have taken their toll, and this is a low point for him I doubt he'll recover from. It's a shame it had to go down this way, I have lots of love for Aaron still, he should never have left.
I get why he was chosen to take a pen though, he's been in plenty of high pressure situations with both us and Wales and he usually delivered, won us two FA Cup finals with his goals. You'd think he would be the calmest man on the pitch. But he's always been shit at pretty much everything when he's not 100% fit and doesn't have any sort of rhythm. Should have polled Arsenal fans, we could have told van Bronckhorst 😆
