Lmao Xhaka passing back from there when novodyis around him.

Guyt confidence is absolute shot in this league

Absolute shithouse of a player.

Brilliant that these idiots made sure we're stuck with him for another 5 years.

When I read some of the things in his thread about how we cannot do without him I am really bewildered.

Whole 2nd half other than first 5 mins we did nothing to stress Mendy. Another 2 0 comfortable loss

The problem for Arteta is even if he was the one, 3 losses from 3 is not easy to recover from. You’d have to win 5 of the next 5 just to get back to a reasonable PPG ratio.

Fixtures are pretty good after City though. If you aren't winning most of them it's a failure.

I think Norwich home is the crucial one. Fail to win there and we just see the back of Arteta. That or a proper 6-0 thumping at the Etihad.

Arteta's approach simply doesn't conjure up pressure. should've been crystal clear with the way we faded away against villareal in the biggest game of last season. the players are playing with a visible handbrake on. only time I've seen us play with purpose when chasing a game is the 3-3 against West ham

Chelsea didn't have to be great today, they'll view that as just another professional away win against middling opponents without too much exertion. that's what we are to the top clubs in this league now

its incredible that we are calling a fixture against fucking norwich "crucial".....

West Brom game is a big one now. Does he go with some of the fringe players or strongest lineup to get some confidence before City.

Xhaka is a gruesome player. Extending his contract is moronic.

We have now lost more PL games at the Emirates under Arteta than under Wenger apparently.

Yep, losing the first three is really tough. You don't have any margins left after that in case you mess up, and you need to overperform heavily just to catch up. We're going to be bottom in the table with pressure mounting. It could get ugly.

Xhaka is a better player than the version we currently see, but there is a general malaise running through the team.

Some rumours that Arteta will be given till end of December, but if the players continue to look bereft of inspiration and drive for much longer, could be a lot sooner. I reckon the Spurs game end of September will be the clincher.

The football already is. There are some shitsters in the team but this squad deserves a better coach. Everyone we like and have hopes for now will soon join the growing list of 'deadwood' because the manager can't manage for shit

The worst thing about today isn't the loss, thats expected but the only good chance we created was a header for Rob Holding. Even against lesser opposition we are going to struggle.

What? That's can't be true can it? In just over 18 months or Arteta we've lost more home PL games than AW did in 12 years.

Genuinely worse than under Graham, at least he had a plan.

It's Wenger's fault.

Rewatch it. We are all over the place. See where Mari is. Holding is having to watch both Havertz and Lukaku.

Mari dealt with Lukaku better in the 2nd half and even then he was extremely poor.
