Qwiss I didn't think that 1.14 issue was too bad. Not ideal, didn't make the most of it, but I was pleased to see us being direct and attacking the box. I'd have been more miffed if he'd turned round and recycled possession there.
We were tidy, sharp and incisive with some of the passing last night, and yet somehow still failed to make it count once we passed the 18 yard box. There were a few good pieces of play where we worked it into the box and looked for players with cut backs and so on, and I'd like to see more of it. Odegaard wasn't spectacular last night but he's key to shaping us into those positions even if he's not the one making the final pass/assist. For that reason I was happy to see Eze, with the idea he'd be the danger is Odegaard was conducting from deeper, but it just didn't quite pan out like that, though it was a lot of change and not a lot of time playing like that. I would have liked to see Havertz stay more central and offer them runs in and around the box instead of drifting so wide as often as he did.
