We lack quality in this position, Ode just isn't a significant difference market anymore, we don't have much better but that's just the state of where we are at the moment. He's not a goalscorer but his creativity is gone now and far too happy to play safer established patterns.

Sicario2 do you not think it makes sense for the club to have a good relationship with international managers and keep them informed? If we want to pull players from an international break as we just did that's a lot easier if we have been upfront about the players condition and ongoing issues. This is just smart management from Arteta and the rest of the club.

I don't think I've ever seen a more egregious injury record through a single season since van Persie who would pick up injuries every time he looked out the window.

His injury record this campaign has frankly been shocking.

He’s talented and certainly has quick feet but he lacks size and power, and deftness of play to really impact games.

lorddulaarsenal deftness of play is there. What he lacks in size and power, he makes up for in tenacity. We have not ever pressed as well without him leading the line

Not sure I want the biggest plus from our attacking midfielder to be their ability to press!

Before his injury, he was constantly topping Europe in balls info final third and penalty box. I admit he’s nowhere near his best, but at his peak this guy basically best in the business at progressions.

Thought he was conservative on Tuesday but on the other hand, it was nice to see us just his onto the ball.

Odegaard's been pretty poor and/or unavailable for 18 months now and it's fair that his place in the squad is questions but let's not rewrite history. He was voted our best player for two seasons back to back.

Mirth was clearing some space off my phone and deleting the biggest files which happen to be match replays I download when I'm not able to watch live.

Imagine my surprise when one of the largest videos I found was not a match replay but a 30 minute plus video of Odegaard making crazy passes and dribbles. That Odegaard was unplayable.
