banduan Ode has Saka next to him. Usually he has Partey behind him. He shouldn't be excused the bad performance, just as much as the bad performance doesn't mean he's suddenly shit and merits losing the armband.
Saka's a wide player, he doesn't combine all over the pitch unless Odegaard drifts into the pockets on the right. Partey is a huge miss.
Incidentally Saka himself has not been playing well either - we've assumed it's because of the injuries but what if it's not? Neither have Jesus, Eddie, Trossard or Martinelli - all of whom have had some good 'moments' but generally been going through the motions. At what point is it the system rather than the players?
