Yeah all I have heard the past 2 weeks here in OMITT is how good Laca and Xhaka is anyway. No loss.
Now it is Vlahovic or nothing for striker
I haven't noticed that, I criticized both. And suggested he doesn't score enough and he's small so he'll be battered In the prem. I talked about laca having no knees and being unable to run and still outscored this guy being a concern. And the fact a almost 40yr old ibra scored 50% more than this guy. Goals per minutes this season as being a concern. Maybe you misunderstood that as praise. I love strikers with no knees? Insigne was wonderful and creative throughout the euros but he was eaten alive by the big mids against England so much so they shifted him out wide so he could get his foot on the ball. Martinez would be put against the CBs rather then mids so that'd be a step up again. That's a concern that's all I said. And to be honest mate I said laca was Robbie Keane level for years and yous all roasted me for it endlessly so giving me shit for praising him is a bit rich. And I've never rubbed it in anyones face when they realised he's not that good.
And I spoke about xhaka being decent and people just having tantrums about him. The lack of quality in midfield is the problem. For half a decade xhaka has been our best CM (not 10, when Ramsey filled in for xhaka we were always horrific) He's not the height of our ambitions but neither does he stop us signing Better midfielders such as partey and promising mids like loco. We're clearly a better team with him that without him. We're horrific without him at CM for example villareal both legs. But we've seen endless examples of this over the years. But if anyone hasn't processed that over the last 5 years I can see why i shouldn't have brought it up.
This is how I'd be thinkin about it. If you think your car isn't fast enough you don't throw out the engine until you've got a new one. And theirs no one engine per person rule . And even if you had a new one most CMs (engines) take a year to get used to the league. So either way you'd want to keep the old engine despite it not being the best engine for at least a season.
On that note, I'm done here. It's just to negative for me. I was hoping post Wenger things would lighten up and be a bit of fun. But it's not really, their just a lot of built up frustrations and anger. And I'm not looking to cause friction with people. Take care everyone.
