That’s super harsh, he’s marking someone else and Ramsey suddenly comes on to it and hits it first time. If you wanted to blame anyone bar Partey I’d say it should be Saka who’s marking no one and is closest to him but that would probably be harsh too.
And we need to avoid the trap of micro-analysing, the very best defenders have imperfect moments virtually every game. What’s more important is that he’s making a notable contribution every game and yesterday was a great first step. Hopefully it can become the norm.
