Was watching the game and speaking with Claude about how poor a game Saliba had the other day. Was left on no man's land a number of times.

I prefer Saliba personally but he's not with us, and in all likelihood won't either so can't be bothered putting too much energy into something out of my control.

Felt the same about Martinez at the time but no point getting worked up over that when we've got bigger issues like getting in a real coach.

For me it's been annoying having to dig out Saliba a bit because I love that kid and his talent, but he's got a way to go to be a Premier League starter at a supposed top team. When Mustafi, Sokratis and Holding were his competition, I was all for throwing him in and risking it going very wrong for borh him and us, but White and Gabriel here and statting - it's a different matter.
