Top flight or not, White has 170 odd professional games under his belt, 36 in the actual league he's going to be playing in. Saliba has 70 games, none of them in the PL. In terms of who's more likely to be ready to be a starter week in week out, I personally think it's no contest.
As for how White is actually panning out in terms of readiness, I think it's too early to make that assessment. As it as, he's had a decent enough start after a rocky debut.
I don't think Saliba is on board with it, I've said in this thread many times that I fear the worst about how this will pan out, but one can only hope that they were able to convince him that he is a definitely part of the long term plans.
