IMO we are doubling down on the same failed logic that saw us sell Martinez to keep Leno, with the excuse being that we had no offers for Leno/Xhaka/Laca/PEA/Kola/Bellerin etc. We're selling our HG and potential to raise revenues that are not enough to actually resolve the issues with the starting XI, and we're not changing what we do on or off the pitch that got us into this mess in the first place.

I suspect our being shit in the market is an outcome of the club not actually having a plan or clue as to what they really want on and off the pitch, let alone how to go about it, and that starts with the owners and the shareholders/BoD before them.
