Quality player. Looks so much more accomplished than AMN, and a much better option than Xhaka for me.

I like the look of him more than guendo, who never passed the eye test for me, but then again sambi did cost alot more so we can probably expect him to be a bit further down the line. pairing him with partey would be a great education for him

Really helps our possession game. More fluid than Xhaka.

He’s going to be great after gaining experience in the Prem and he may have more growing to do.

I'm not sold on him yet. He looks smart and disciplined, and he has a good range of passing, but he also has an inconsistent first touch, dodgy dribbling in tight areas and lacks a bit of agility when he's defending one-on-one or trying to beat an opponent to the ball etc. He doesn't have that quick burst or change of direction which I think is such an asset for holding midfielders.

His reception is great Ricky. You’re probably getting thrown by that languid style. He’s very press resistant and don’t forget he’s probably playing with the handbrake on whilst he settles in.

I honestly loved his first touch. He always seems to trap the ball in a way that makes him have an extra second on the ball.

Yeah, I agree. I only feel like he lacks defensive nous but it will come with experience.

He needs to keep his head up more and be less hesitant to release the ball. He's got the awareness to win the receiver more time on the ball but it's not quite coming out. I can see why Henry liked him though. This is the type of midfielder you want feeding a forward.

He’s almost the opposite of Xhaka. Good at dealing with the press, agile and moves the ball quickly. Just needs to improve his ball winning.

More than anything he needs to show his personality more. He's got all the tools, just needs to use them with more conviction.

Love the early release forward to the wide men much like Partey, as well as those balls over the top for the CF. Also like that he was prepared to spread it without just passing to the closest player.

He's playing within himself—compact and avoiding risk. I think he'll expand a bit and show us more over time, given a few starts. Liking the look of his personality relative to the alternatives, just having dedication and purpose in midfield can help us a lot.
