Klaus willed this into existence.
First taste of pre seasons action today
Highlights here
Looks the right style of midfielder for us. Hopefully there's also sufficient quality to the style, that remains to be seen.
Looks dynamic that’s for sure. He receives it well so fingers crossed.
Him and Partey should be able to bully a few midfields this season.
Shame we’re not in Europa this seasons would be fun to see a Lokonga Azeez pairing
Guy looks class. Great reception, head always up and scanning, able to weight passes well and looks physically sound
Really like what I see, especially the progressive nature of his passing.
Does seem an excellent signing. His stature surprised me, especially considering all the criticism for his lack of physicality. Plenty to work with there.
He seems to have grown a lot in the past 12 months. Probably the early career highlights given folk that impression
Guendouzi started out with us playing lovely passes between the lines, but from the second half of his first season until the end, that pretty much vanished.
I hope Arteta lets this guy play his natural game.
Still hope this guy is a squad player.
Think it would be quite dangerous if he slots in as a first teamer, no serious team does that.
He’ll be back up to Partey initially
Fully prepared to temper my expectations. This was Millwall in pre-season. Not much to take away from this other than it was good to get him some minutes to get a feel of how we play (however that is. lol)
This guy is freakin mega!
Better than Diaby at the same age or too early to say?
He better be better than Diaby. Diaby was shit.
If he's as good as Diaby without the injuries we've made a great deal. Don't quite see the comparison though.
Looks calm and composed yet physically assured
He's played more games at his age than Diaby did. That's a good point to start. Diaby was raw and had skill and size, but he clearly couldnt make any progression because of his injuries. Not sure they are the same kind of player though.
