Ramsdale doesn't make sense either way. As first choice he doesn't look anywhere near good enough, while as second choice he's far too expensive given SU's current state of delusion.

Ryan is fine as a backup. Cost close to nothing in transfer fees. Ramsdale won't make any sense in any circumstances unless SHU is giving him away for free. Won't even touch him for 5m.

Is Gunnerblog quite unreliable? His colleague is Ornstein so surely he facts checks with him first.

Not really, they’ve just said this deal isn’t impossible and can happen as the players not opposed to it, similar to what they said about Camavinga.

Last summer their view on Partey was it was a done deal, just upto Arsenal to pay the clause.

I hope we don’t end up spending £60m+ on him when we have ESR.

Not really 100% sold on this guy but he would bring something different to the squad. May have stalled a bit last year and will kick on next.. Wouldnt say not as long as its not going to break our budget.. Not a huge amount of obvious alternatives out there.

If this is based on getting rid of ESR though, then fuck that.
