That’s not a criticism of Tuchel so much as the fan boys of Chelsea’s hire and fire policy to be fair.

Tuchel is a good manager but more and more I watch the more fluky their CL win gets. He also could have peaked way too early with Chelsea.

never was entirely convinced by tuchels chelsea as title challengers. the signing of lukaku looked ludicrous to me, and seems to have only caused them headaches on and off the pitch. the way city murdered them at stamford Bridge earlier in the season showed there was a gulf between the two

Tuchel making excuses saying they've played too much. Brighton were missing Dunk, Bissouma and Duffy and didn't start Maupay. How much easier could it have been against Brighton?

Cuts both ways really. Champions League squad with a "great" manager can't beat Brighton, Arsenal with a green manager and a squad in development can't beat Brighton. Split the difference and the answer you get is that Brighton are a well organised and well managed side that takes advantage of vulnerable opposition.

Arteta's got a job ahead of him and I guess we're about to find out. Be pretty good if we were to get near Chelsea by season's end, hope it happens.

Tuchel at 36 was regarded as the next big thing among Germany's young coaches, broke several Bundesliga coaches with a minor club in Mainz and finished 5th with them in his first season, first ever European and highest ever club finish. He also only got the job because he was the best youth coach in Germany for years and won the youth Bundesliga title at several clubs by then. Saying Arteta did more at this stage of his career is a blatant lie.

Do you believe Arteta would've made waves like Tuchel had he started his career with a comparable club, say West Brom or Burnley?

Arteta won a FA cup in his first season as manager in toughest league in the world. That is better than any achievement a young Tuchel did.

Guess even before winning the FA Cup he had achieved more than Tuchel did until 2017 because he was manager of a much bigger club then.

Seriously not even you can believe that nonsense. Arteta won the lottery by landing a massive job as his first on his CV, how can you compare that to Tuchel who had to work his way up from the bottom?
