Maybe. Lewy's strongest claim is his goal output but he plays for such a superior team in such a weak league. Salah is just a way more complete footballer.

I'd say Salah, Lewadowski and Benzema (in that order) are the most on form players right now.

When it comes to best, I think let's give it say 2-3 months. Some players like Messi, Neymar etc haven't really got going yet.

For me when Messi is on form, no player comes close.

Think you could argue even Haaland has been better than Lewa this season. Both assisting and scoring at a higher rate for a worse team. But yeah, easily Salah so far.

Really hope they don't sack him. If not the wins against Villarreal and Atalanta will be all for nothing for us. Would be super funny to have seen them crash out of the group stage again.

Don't see that as a good fit at all.

I'm also not too worried because I think they have a hugely overrated team. They're a lot like we were a few years ago - a mess of a squad, horribly imbalanced, with no real strategy or tactical coherence, and with some over the hill players living on reputation alone.

Giving Conte players like Ronaldo and Pogba would easily equal a title or two before the inevitable fallout though, I hope United don't go down that path. He'd fix their defence too. No way would he stand for Maguire.

If you believe that Conte could topple Guardia and Klopp with old man Ronaldo and Pogba the flat-track bully then you must have the Italian down as one of the greatest managers ever!

He's certainly up there with both of them as one of the greatest of these last couple of decades at least! He already toppled them with a Chelsea side that was nowhere near as good as this current United team.
