IMO their recruiting is still on the money, and doing it by drip feed keeps the machine oiled and ticking over without skipping a beat. It now looks like they will not miss either Mane or Salah too much in attack when they eventually depart in another season or so, which I didn't think we'd be able to say before they went and signed Jota and then Diaz.

Everton have a game in hand over Burnley, meaning they can lose that game and still be a point ahead.
Whilst I don't rate Lampard as a manager I'd be amazed if Burnley can sack Dyche AND overtake Everton to avoid relegation.
IMO Everton has the better squad overall and the better individual quality players. If they do go down I'd expect to see Lampard sacked (and replaced by Shrek?).
