Crazy scenes at Leeds. Norwich get a late equalizer, but Leeds hit back in the 95th min. Then Norwich pour everybody forward including the keeper and he almost got a super assist for Pukki who misses a sitter, then Leeds with so many men forward and an open goal can't score. 😆

Yeah, poor education at Villa really. You can see the likes of Foden and Saka have benefitted massively from coming up at a big club. The likes of Grealish and Sancho are almost having to re-learn aspects of the game. The latter is young enough but with Grealish you wonder.

Predictably it looks like the sale of Chelsea will go through, with any proceeds going to a charitable foundation or (more likely) a frozen account. Unfortunately it seems like our dreams of their demise will probably remain a fantasy.

Hopefully they get incompetent vultures in charge who load the debt onto the club.

Was always going to be that way, and to be honest there's no real reason for the club to be destroyed, although it'd be justice if they had to wear some serious financial penalties. But what can you do? Gold is the root of all evil.

Without Abramovich they'll drift back to midtable where they belong. They never got their new stadium and they just aren't a big club.

It doesn't sound like there are any real players about in the nation state/oligarch mould unless they're keeping it very private - most of the interested parties sound like they're opportunists hastily forming consortiums.

the ricketts family is fucking incompetent, so i wouldnt worry too much about chelsea if they buy the team. they just gutted the cubs a year or two after winning their first world series in literally 100 years. sold off most of their best players. they are still a huge brand in the US in terms of baseball, but they arent a spend at all costs franchise.
