I was watching the first 30 mins and was in shock at how bad Watford were. Could easily have been 3-0 before half time.

United are rubbage though. A team full of half players, including the sad shell of Pogba.

Fernandes starting to be exposed too now that he doesn’t get to score a pen every week.

United's next matches are City, Spurs and Liverpool, and Spurs is the only home game out of those three. Maybe they pull a rabbit out of the hat, but under normal circumstances they should be totally out of it after these three matches. They even have Atletico between the Spurs and Liverpool matches.

Don’t forget a huge CL second leg sandwhiched in between those games.

The benefits of our rivals dropping points just makes our ‘games in hand’ i.e Liverpool at home less ‘do or die’ and makes them more like free hits. An unexpected win v Liverpool at home or Chelsea away (last time we lost there was Aug 2018 to be fair) should put us in a fantastic position.

West Ham v Wolves tomorrow - prob best bet is a draw but neither team really concern me, however, I still want daylight.

Just looked at Leicester’s fixtures and they play in Europe v Rennes 3 days before they face us away.

This always seems to happen to Bielsa, he starts out well and then there's a big collapse at some stage. Never, ever builds a team and sees it through to fruition. Bloke has a lot of theories but he can't seem to apply them on any team in reality. He's so rigid in his thinking that he'd rather keep Patrick Bamford around for four seasons than sign a Premier League worthy striker. Remember his Argentina side where he decided he couldn't find a way to use both Batistuta and Crespo at the same time?

I’m struggling to see a path forward with United’s squad too.

Ronaldo won’t tolerate a rebuild, but the only indication of a path forward is to build around a 4-2-3-1 with Sancho / Fernandes / Elanga. Rash fire can step into the wings there, or as a CF but he’s lost his ways.

What else do they have though? A midfield of Matic and Fred, McTominay, and a joke of a back line.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that I wouldn’t take one of their starting XI over their counterpart in our team….maybe Ronaldo for a one off game, but I’d rather have Laca’s expiring contract (and mentorship) than Ronaldo for a few years on a big contract.

With everything going on now there is definitely too much targeting so he just trying to take himself and Chelsea out the line of sight it seems.

I would love it if it was the fairytale story we would hope for but this is just a smart move by Roman.

He hasn't pulled out, he's basically moved his asset so it can't be seized. When this all blows over he'll be back....
