Well, Conte is the one that said this doesn't happen to him. In fact, it does. He just happens to have managed Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan in the last decade, and those clubs occasionally don't even lose 5 games in a season. But, seriously, everyone is trying to get ahead and looking out for themselves, and righlty so (Wenger included), but I reckon Conte would trample his own mother if it meant he could manage Real Madrid, be number 1 and earn the biggest salary. He's a horrible, dishonourable man for my money.
Whereas, I would be stunned if, for example, Graham Potter would leave Brighton mid-season should Tottenham, or anyone else, come calling, because he's a good man that knows in the long-run, being principled will get him far in his career. I also think Arteta is similarly principled. :opti:
