Germany v Holland is a much more enjoyable competition so far. 2-0 to the Germans. Wirtz (#7) double within the first 8 minutes.

Whenever you feel bad think about how Köln/Cologne lost Germanys by far biggest talent to their arch rivals for 200k just little over a year ago. They almost got relegated a week ago for good measure too.

He's not the gangbusters high-octane kind of player media likes to buzz over. Mason Mount is similarly underrated.

Watching the Final and saw this german striker called Nmecha very impressive. Googled him and he is already snapped up by City at a young age. I swear all these oil rich clubs are disgusting.

so who were the standout players from this tourney? Any we could potentially take up?

edit: really like Dani de Wit. Another link type striker with good presence. Though I admit he doesn't appear to be in the top echelons. I haven't seen enough on him to know why.
