IMO our final ball into the forwards is too slow/delayed atm = hence the offsides.

I can understand why ESR played a lot on the wings during youth games and on loan. His qualities is perfect on the wings to run at defence. Very Grealish style

I'm not sure it's working at the moment though. Ødegaard doesn't see enough of the ball and Smith-Rowe can't be involved in the passing game when he's out there. We need to fix this if we want to build any chances. We have all these players who are great with the ball at their feet and we still try and play every ball over the top instead.
