I felt that way before we signed him. Was worried about his tendency to go to ground but he's been pretty good in that regard since joining us. What he's started to annoy me with today was his mimicking of Luiz by turning back towards the goalkeeper and the other CB even though Cedric/Tierney were available.
He's good at progressing the ball when he's near the halfway line but when he's very near or inside the box it's like he is scared and just wants to pass it to the same place it came from. He and Luiz were getting on my tits late on in the game doing that instead of showing urgency to pass it out quickly.
At times it felt like we were deliberately slowing the game down and trying to see out the game at the same scoreline as if we were in the lead.
