I've said a number of times that not only have I've wanted Xhaka gone since before AW departed, but I also cannot get fully behind Arteta or his non-negotiables whilst Xhaka is still at the club, let alone that he is an automatic starting selection when he is available.
For me Xhaka remains the elephant in the room and the single biggest WTF question, followed by the as yet uncompleted purge and rebuild without a spine that fits. Regardless of how much progress has been made this season to date, I will rage if the opportunity to regain top4/UCL is frakked because we didn't do the business and were not ruthless in this transfer window.
100% agree. Sorry if my post sounded a little bit aggressive
No worries mate = it's the Xhaka effect - all is good.
Xhaka for me is a double negative in that not only is he not fit for purpose, but he is also representative of the failure to purge and rebuild with a new spine.
I also find it hard to take him as a leader in the squad when he panics under pressure on the pitch, and makes so many unforced errors that cost us not only in game but also impacts our season.
