That only works for PL teams. We are allowed to loan more than one player from foreign clubs apparently.

Madrid have a hold on these guys, they can treat them like trash and yet players still only ever want to leave on loan until Madrid are ready to cash in.

From what I've seen, both him and esr would compliment each other for load balancing. One of them has to win out in the end. A loan with option would be nice

Zidane has to integrate some of these youngsters sooner rather than later.

The likes of Modric, Ramos are not going last much longer.

We did tried to sign him from Godset to be fair. He visited to take a look at the facilities etc., but Bayern, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid did the same.

If what Kike said is true I'd take that as good news as it means he's for sale. Unfortunately what seems more plausible to me is that he isn't.

He probably wants to be sure that he plays wherever he goes. For half a season it's perfect for him really to just go back to a place he knows with people he knows. If RM were selling him then I'd hope he'd prefer Arsenal instead.

Update – it sounds as though this might not be as much of a goer as first thought. According to Kike Marin, Read Sociedad, for whom he thrived last season, are in pole position to sign Odegaard and they are his first choice.

Update 2 – Maybe we are in the mix. The Athletic claim Edu made contact with Real Madrid last week. Sounds like it may come down to the player.
