They have been bad today, but I remember Xhaka playing really badly against equally bad opposition. He looks more lively when he plays further up and he releases the ball much quicker.

I find it hard to criticise Arteta for not picking Maitland-Niles given what the manager has said previously about the attitude and application AMN has failed to show at times in training. It really wouldn't shock me if Cedric has trained twice as hard as him this week.

Agreed. Robertson may have a slight edge in attack but Tierney is twice the defender
