Saliba loan has been agreed with Marseille according to Ornstein and others, with one telefoot journo suggesting the medical is tomorrow. After the end of this upcoming season, I believe he'll have just two years remaining on the contract, which apparently has not been under discussion. Hope he thrives, hope we thrive and make the Champions League and some reconciliation occurs. As it stands, its been a disservice to fans given the the talent of the player.
IMO going to OM is the telling part, and I suspect this loan is more about trying to build his sale value rather than developing him to play for us anytime in his remaining seasons under contract.
IMO Arteta replaced him with Gabriel as Saliba plays as CBL, and White is the replacement for Holding.
As such IMO this is yet another example of poor/weak leadership at the club - probably as no one involved outside the football operation has a bloody clue as to what they are doing as we flip flop form one direction to another. IMO a rookie manager should not get to call the shots over players signed prior to their tenure until they have 'given them a go' as such.
