I mean I love Laca and he's a great guy to have around, but there's absolutely no way he should play any meaningful games next season or, god forbid, the one after. It's extremely short-sighted squad management. Arteta just had to freeze out Auba, who could actually be useful next year. Now it seems like he, Pepe and Eddie will be gone in the summer at the latest, leaving us with a geriatric Lacazette and a wholly unproven Balogun, who should go on loan, to back up Vlahovic, that is if we get him. That seems like a recipe for a lot of goalless draws.
