For sure. That's always felt like the case too. Nketiah is limited as a player and Willock never shown anything brilliant in an epl game. Saka is Saka, ESR is showing more promise by the day. Nelson is the one i'm still waiting to explode.

For me there's no doubt that having Aouar and Partey out there instead of Xhaka and Ceballos would be massively better. Willock is not adequate competition for ESR either.

ESR, Saka, Balogun are very obvious talents we need to build our teams on. Nketiah probably we need to sell while his value is still okay here, Willock needs a loan or sale.

If possible we really need to cut our losses on Willian and ship him to MLS or Betis or something. Way way below par, not even on u23 level.

Arsenal produced 12 shots on target against West Brom tonight, the most they have ever produced in a Premier League match since Arsène Wenger left the club.

It makes the world of difference to start the game on the front foot in the first half and attack with good tempo.

I really hope Arteta won't try to prove a point by starting Willian in league games. Auba needs extra rest or benching. Finally we have players who perform well in building attacks other than Saka. I also think we will try to sell Pepe in this transfer window, Arteta clearly doesn't like/rate him.

How are you going to do that though? They would literally pay him a fraction of what he gets here. Do we give him a bag of money containing £25 million in January and tell him good luck? He's unsellable for the next few years. Same goes for Cedric. The only reason they signed was to pick up wages, and that's exactly what they're doing now.

By all accounts Willian is a model pro. If we stop playing him in games and tell him he is not needed here he will most likely move if we pay him off even half his wage. He wants to play football.

This is a very good point. I always find it annoying our over reliance on the left with 4 players constantly over loading there and Saka taking up Tierney's space. Now we are far more balanced and uses the right flank more with Saka there.

Sign that we were moving things around better. Aubameyang featured in 3 of the top 11 pass combinations. Xhaka to Aubameyang. Aubameyang to Tierney, and Tierney to Aubameyang.

Just so much more dynamism. Lost of hustle. Constant third man running from the boys. Tierney and Ceballos led chances created. Both had incredible passes throughout the game.

I must applaud that Tierney goal though. It’s one of our goals of the season. He had Furlong chasing ghosts throughout that sequence. So composed and cultured by our Scotsman.
