There's been very little news on the timeline of his injury, which was obviously shrouded in secrecy due to the timing of it. But dumping your longest serving player, out on the street, in the middle of their rehabilitation, would be an entirely classless thing to do. It would reflect extremely poorly on the club. In any other form of employment, you would seriously question why you would want to work for, or represent that company. No difference here.
