Very true. Plus AMN has had one foot out the door for a long time, getting offers from Wolves is one thing, if he'd had an offer from Barca I don't think he'd have brushed it off either. Especially not considering it'd be first choice at Barca and he's a utility back up/rotation option here.

Don't think he's necessarily full of shit, but it's probably that his sources are people close to the club, just like with Atletico regarding the Partey transfer. I remember the club feeding Ornstein some bullshit before too. They're really pushing the narrative of Arteta as our savior.

I have read that Barca were really in for Bellerin this summer.

Big issue is that they didn't want to pay any money for him.

We are apparently in running to sign Reading's teenage attacking midfielder Michael Olise (along with Wolves and Leeds) before tomorrow's transfer deadline for the EFL clubs.

Olise is French youth international and used to be part of Man City's academy before jumping ship to Reading.

Looks very good. Weight on his passes are delicious and his dribbling skill on that left foot. Has that burst to get past his markers easily when the situation calls for it too. Mmm. Tasty.

What are we saying about Willock? I’d trade him in a heartbeat for this kid.

Dunno how old this kid is but he certainly seems like a proper footballer. The close control, skill and ability to create space for himself looks really good at that level. If he can translate that to first team football at PL level then he certainly looks promising. Definitely want to take a risk on talent like this

Willock has stagnated/declined from that super-promising talent of pre-season 2019.

Willock is fine. For now he looks like a Fergie type development (Phil Neville without the bile) or Milner/Barkley. Versatile, hardworking guys who might not appear particularly brilliant in any single position but have long productive careers.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert

The thing is, his highs are really quite high. When played deeper on the pitch with everything ahead of him, he can fully utilise his ball-carrying ability and his dribbling. His passing out from our third is underrated too.

Play him any further forward and he's pointless.

Should have sent him on loan. We've been very anti-loan this year. I wonder if it's because no one can afford loan fees anymore.
