Kolasinac deal apparently collapsed since he wont lower his salary demands and Leverkusen could not shift Wendell in time.

You haven't even touched on Ozil and Mustafi.
That's just getting rid of debris before we can start proper squad reconstruction.

Btw, transfer guru Misliantat. How's he doing a few years out?

Mavropanos
Sokratis
Torreira
Mkhitaryan
Guendouzi
Aubameyang
Lichsteiner
Leno

Thats an ok list TBF. Sok was always a desperate short term measure. Torreira and Douzi were decent signings just didn't work out, largely for personality reasons rather than footballing ones. Don't blame him on Mhki, thats not his scouting. Lichty was shit but a short term loan. Auba and Leno have been our best players since they signed.

Thats a real blow. He was supposed to bring 10 million to the club - no one potentially outbound comes close to that.

Yeah, our truly shit players predate Misliantat

Loftus-Cheek available on loan , should we?

We were in for Diallo and Soyuncu that summer and we chose Sokratis. Said it that time we will regret it and of course we did, not rocket science Sokratis is pretty average and apart from some good performances didn't really add anything to us. 19m thrown away like this.

The rest of the list I have no problems given the circumstances. Lichsteiner was really shit for us but came without any real costs except costing us a few results.

The Seagulls' transfer policy in this window has involved hoovering up some of the best young talent in Europe.

Moder is a 21-year-old midfielder, who is already a full international. Brighton's other young signings from the continent so far include Kosovan striker Andi Zeqiri, Lars Dendocker from Club Brugge, Jan Paul Van Hecke from NAC Breda and Borussia Dortmund's Reda Khadra.

Very interesting transfers, snapping up a lot of youngsters this season for quite a hefty fees considering their age and experience. Wonder how this will turn out for Potter in the near future.

I think he will make a plan.
If we complete Partey, we will have 2 too many non-homegrown players. That means that we have to de-register them. I think if we communicate to Kolasinac and Torreira that they are not going to play for the next 3 months, they'd rather go off and play than sit on their arses.

Yep. Couple of stop gaps, one or two misses, and two players that are going to go down in history as some of the best to ever play for the club. He would have found more of those if he had been allowed to do his job.

Without more players going out a couple of these guys will have to be unregistered right? Unreal lack of footballing hunger from some.

It's a decent return. Torreira and Guendouzi were good buys - they're mainly victims of flux, and we will have just about broken even on Torreira and will probably still make a profit on Guendouzi. And agreed on Auba/Leno, excellent players whose brilliance is being obscured by the 'floaters'

Romano finally in there for the tap in. Credit to him for not jumping on the bandwagon I guess, clearly his only source was Atletico themselves.

Partey on his way to London, we told Atletico an hour ago.

He did this for a 10% chance of a Partey sighting. Truly blessed.

I'd love to see players who have been told they are surplus but refuse to leave being deregistered.

It's the only for this to not become an issue every time we have deadwood.

So because Geundouzi went to Hertha Berlin - JRA deal is off? Until United strike for Dembele, Depay deal is off? Iso, Edu is like WW and Aulas is a rich mans Tuco

Apparently JRA deal collapsed because his brother/agent is a greedy so and so. Wanted Hertha to pay him a higher commission (5 million euros or so).

Shades of Anelka with the lad.

looks like Sokratis deal to Roma has also collapsed. His wages again the issue.

is this a parody?

All of this seems a little hokey. I'm glad we got him. Sounds like partey was a backup in case it all fell thru, that or we knew we'd bid after negotiations with Lyon one way or the other. I'd like to think we could've got both.

We wanted both, like what everyone is saying. 1 is a fair consolation though. Not linked to anyone else at all with a few hours to go, that should be it.

We can still do business with Championship teams until October 16. Imagine a Buendia madness coming up!

The lack of outgoings is really odd. You'd have at least thought they'd go out on loan to somewhere, they're not THAT bad.
