But isn't the main point so that Aubameyang can drift in more centrally without making us too narrow? I agree it's a big ask on Saka and Tierney which is why we don't play Saka in the bigger games (wrongly imo).
I don't know. Couldn't Tierney do that as an LB?
I think we're defending a little bit too deep, so that when we win back the ball we don't have enough running passing options to connect with on the break. We also don't get enough movement in between the lines. Another player in central midfield might help. Especially if that someone is Saka. Although it might also make us less solid at the back. So it's a trade off.
