Yeah there seems to be no coherent attack plan we can't really get in behind teens and create decent chances in the penalty area. Everything is lump the ball forward and hope someone can get it in the channel or Auba can do something.

I think there’s been some accumulated attrition to quality and decision making on the ball for both centre forwards because of the demands of the press. Not getting a true reflection of their attacking power partly because of this

can't blame the CMs for this, Elneny and Ceballos have done their jobs but the forward line has been abysmal. I wanted Willian to prove me wrong but he's been every bit as underwhelming as I expected so far.

Think there are positives to talks out of how we're playing. Defensively robust, passing quickly up the pitch. What we're lacking, is what has been missing since Ozil gave up (and we sold Ramsey) - a lack of invention in the final third (or a lack of alternative options).

Auba wide doesn't really work in a game like this. There's no space for him to run into. You need two proper wide men for some creativity, Willian and Pepe ideally.

Despite all the whinging on here I think we've done alright. Lots of the ball, winning it back quite quickly and not remotely troubled at the back. Main problem is the final third, Willian is offering nothing and it's not in Auba's game either. End result is Eddie getting no service.

Dani needs to get on the ball more in that attacking mid position.

It's especially annoying that Pepe is on the bench when Willian offers absolutely nothing.

But also look further back. Service from El Neny and Bellerin is inadequate.

That was complete horseshit. Sheffield aren't really biting on our deep passing, theyre letting us have it and we don't look like getting through their middle block. Need a mistake, peno, or auba magic

We have not had penetration in attack for years. Always trying to pass the ball around but that's really easy to nullify. Much harder if you have runners constantly moving and players who can run with the ball with real threat. We have none of that so easy to set up against.

Arsenal have been like this for the last 4-5 seasons. There is no change and the players not good enough to so this successfully (very few clubs outside elite would be)

Need to get Pepe on and unsettle their defense a bit. I'd get Pepe on for Nketiah and play him off Auba. Saka can play wide left and Willian can play somewhere between wide right and RWB.

Without creativity in the middle of the park, does feel like we need some dribbly players to help draw SU out of position.
