PSG has been shit in the final third. Idiots
Champions league 2020/21

United could have scored more in they were more decisive in the final third. PSG are atrocious.
The much hyped Dortmund got trounced by Lazio (who have been on a shit run of form in Serie A) by 3-1 tonight.
Apparently Luis Alberto was very good tonight and ran the show.

Yep
No structure about PSG at all. That has been there downfall. Also no midfield to speak of, once Neymar et al lost the ball up front, it was a straight counter to Navas. No one to actually win the ball or dictate from deep.
Is it just me or has the champions league started to lose its appeal? I used to want to watch it but now Iβd seriously rather watch GBBO
Just feels like the teams are playing a fruit machine ploughing coins in to it, letting them roll and repeating it until they eventually win
Did it start to lose its appeal when we stopped being in it?
Tbf that was 2 of the biggest teams in Europe, massive stars and it was full of shit football.

They're literally half the team without Marco Verratti, and that's a bit of a problem seeing as he's always injured.
They sort of have an replacement in Marquinhos, who is a fantastic player and as good a midfielder as he is a defender, but he's also missing. PSG have nothing without those two. They're head and shoulders above anyone else in that squad when it comes to giving the team shape and meaning.

Main takeaway for me. Hope he's backed in the winter again and he spends 400 million on Tarkowski Barnes and Longstaff
I don't know what's funnier, that United made a Β£50+ million bid for Longstaff or that it was rejected.

Great point about Verratti and Marquinhos.
Shocked at how predictable they were. Be interesting to see Verrattiβs future next year.
Predict a mini exodus next summer, when it seems Mbappe will leave. It will be the perfect time for a refresh/overhaul of the team.

And Ed Woodward saying that they can do things in the transfer market that other teams WONT ever dream of
Man United jerseys are even worse than I thought possible

I switched off at half time, it was so pedestrian.

Yeah, that is atleast one good thing that Koeman is doing at Barca.
He is not afraid to play the kids. I think Pedri, Fati, Trincao have either started or come off the bench in all their matches so far.
And all have looked better than OMIT fave Dembele. He looks physically shot.
Pedri looks really good. And Fati is sensational. The other big letdown for them this season has to be Griezmann. Heβs just not owning a position
Dembele has looked better than all of them bar Fati last night though. Not sure if you missed the game he looked anything but shot for his assist for Pedri's goal.

On the other hand he tried to sell Puig who looked better than all of them last season. Still think Koeman is out of his depth, we'll see if the youngers can keep their trajectory when things get tough with him
Real Madrid seeing their asses at home to Shakhtar. 0-2
First goal was matador defending.
Second goal, Courtois spilled the ball Leno style in front of his goal and Varane booted it into his own net
Make that 3-0 just before half time. These Brazilian boys aren't defending
What on earth is going on?
Shakhtar have eleven players out with corona too
Szoboszlai
Hungarian footballer
At it again too. Striking technique top fucking

That kid's technique is ridiculous. He is so good at shooting and taking free kicks and set pieces. Will switch over to him 2nd half.

Just read that they almost had to cancel the match as Shaktar only have 15 players available from the first team, but since the limit is 13 they had to play today.
Fuck, Real are gonna win now aren't they
3-3 unless var rules otherwise
HAAA
Daka just wasted a lovely Szoboszlai throughball. Weighted it perfectly through 3 defenders did the Hungarian and the Zambian boy had a leaden footed touch to lose it.
Choke on it Zidane choke
OFfside. Vinicius taking a dump when he should have got himself clear of the 6 yard box
It's nice to see stadium with fans. it's 1/3 full in Austria but they packed all the fans together. Maybe the coronavirus is on the other side of the stadium. I'm sure our boys will enjoy having some fans tomorrow
Porto take an early lead in the Ettihad scoring from their first attack. Clinical
Bayern lead against Atletico. Splendid pass by Kimmich to setup Koman.
2-0 to Bayern. Goretzka scores on a good counter attack after Atletico lose the ball in midfield.
3-0 Bayern. Sublime long range hit by Tolisso.
4-0 to Bayern now. Koman punishes Atletico on a counter.
